X Model Anchor

X Model Anchor

Anchor for Loose Heavy Rock

The X Model Anchor by B & R Stamping is specially designed for ground conditions where loose heavy rock is present. In areas where standard earth anchors may not provide sufficient stability, the X Model Anchor offers a reliable solution for securing structures in difficult terrain.

This anchor system is constructed using a 1″ x 1″ heavy gauge square steel tube measuring approximately 4 1/2 inches in length, welded together to form a strong “X” shaped structure. The unique X-shaped design helps create additional ground resistance, allowing the anchor to remain stable in rocky or uneven soil conditions.

A single ratchet head is welded on top of the anchor, allowing the tie-down strap or cable to be securely attached to the structure being anchored.

The X Model Anchor also includes two-pointed steel rods measuring 3/4 inch in diameter and 48 inches in length. These rods are designed to penetrate the ground and provide additional support and stability during installation.

Installation Method

To install the X Model Anchor, the two-pointed rods are inserted through the square tubes of the anchor and driven into the ground. As the rods penetrate the soil, they secure the anchor in place and provide the holding strength required to stabilize the structure.

This installation method allows the anchor system to perform effectively in loose heavy rock and challenging ground conditions where traditional anchors may not work properly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

An X Model Anchor is used to secure structures in areas with loose heavy rock or difficult soil conditions where conventional earth anchors may not provide adequate stability.

The X Model Anchor is manufactured using heavy gauge steel square tubing, which provides strength, durability, and reliable anchoring performance.

The anchor consists of 1″ x 1″ heavy gauge square tubing that is 4 1/2 inches long, along with two-pointed rods measuring 3/4 inch in diameter and 48 inches in length.

Installation is completed by inserting the two-pointed rods through the square tubes and driving them into the ground, which locks the anchor securely into place.

X Model Anchors are commonly used in rocky soil conditions, loose heavy rock environments, portable building installations, and structural tie-down systems where additional ground resistance is required.
